🦜 Loro — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

Loro collects nothing.

Loro is a language-learning app that shows a new word and phrase on your Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets. It is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your personal data, we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not require an account.

What we collect

Nothing that leaves your device. Loro does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. Specifically:

How your data is used

Your on-device data (selected language, daily progress, streak, review history, reminder preference) exists solely to make the app work — to show your daily word, track your streak, and power the widgets. It stays on your device.

Purchases

Loro Premium subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through StoreKit / the App Store. Loro never sees your payment details. Purchases are handled under Apple's Privacy Policy. Restoring purchases uses your Apple Account via Apple's systems only.

Notifications

If you enable the optional daily reminder, Loro schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Third-party services

The only third party involved is Apple, for App Store distribution and in-app purchases. Loro embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data retention & deletion

Because your data never leaves your device, deleting the app removes all of it. There is nothing stored on our side to request or delete.

Children's privacy

Loro is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, port, or erase on our servers. You remain in full control of the on-device data, which you can clear at any time by deleting the app.
