Score by the
near miss.

Distance is not the score. Proximity is. A second sensor rides beside your craft — clear a wall by inches and the multiplier climbs. Play it safe and the score barely moves.

The margin is the mechanic

Everything in Neorun is built around one number that you can only raise by taking a risk you could have avoided.

+1
A near miss registersAn obstacle passes through the sensor beside you — not through you. The multiplier steps up.
−ALL
It decaysGo 3.2 seconds without another one and it collapses straight back to ×1. You cannot bank it.
×5
Time dipsAt five, the next near miss drops the whole world into slow motion for a beat.
×9
OverdriveThe camera opens up, the grade goes white-gold, trails and speed lines spike. Your best run lives here.

Fair by design — written into the generator

A runner that kills you with an impossible row is not hard, it is broken. These four rules are constraints in the level generator, not promises in a description.

  1. Every row leaves one clear lane, and it is never more than one lane away from where you already are. No double lane change is ever required.
  2. A "jump or slide" row never follows another one, so there is always reaction time between the two reflexes.
  3. Powerups only drop on the guaranteed-clear lane. A pickup is never bait.
  4. The opening stretch of every run is spawn-free while you settle into the speed.

The same track for everyone, every day

The Daily Challenge is generated from the calendar date, so every player in the world runs the identical obstacle sequence that day. Three daily missions rotate alongside it and pay out the moment you cross the line — there is no "tap to claim". Come back tomorrow and the streak flame grows.

Controls

Swipe left or right to change lane, up to jump, down to slide. That is the entire control scheme — there is nothing else to learn.

Honest about the limits

What Neorun 3D does not do:
  • No cloud saves. Your best score lives on the device and travels in an encrypted iPhone backup — it does not sync between two phones in use at once.
  • No multiplayer. The Daily Challenge is a shared track, not a live race.
  • Prisms picked up while running are the only currency. Nothing in the shop can be bought with money except removing ads.
  • Removing ads is one purchase, once. There is no subscription and there never will be.
