PayLane (“the app”, “we”) is designed to be private. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use PayLane.
None. PayLane does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We have no servers, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
Everything you enter — companies, employees, salaries, and payslips — is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device except when you choose to export or share a payslip PDF using the system share sheet (for example by email, AirDrop or Android's share menu). In that case the data goes only to the destination you pick.
PayLane does not require an account, sign-in, or any contact information to work.
If you use iCloud device backup or iCloud Drive, your PayLane data may be included in those backups under Apple’s own privacy terms. PayLane itself does not operate any cloud service.
On Android, your PayLane data may be included in Android's own device backup under Google's privacy terms. The app does not sync to any server.
The Android app works the same way: everything stays on your device. Two features hand data to Google, not to us, under Google's privacy policy. Google Play processes PayLane Pro subscriptions — we never see your payment details, only Google's confirmation of your plan. If you choose to rate the app, the in-app review form is Google Play's own. Payday reminders are scheduled on the device. The Android app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and does not use the advertising ID.
PayLane is a business/productivity tool and is not directed at children.
PayLane provides editable estimates to help you produce payslips. It is not accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always verify figures against your local regulations.
