PayLane (“the app”, “we”) is designed to be private. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use PayLane.
None. PayLane does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We have no servers, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
Everything you enter — companies, employees, salaries, and payslips — is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device except when you choose to export or share a payslip PDF using the system share sheet (for example by email or AirDrop). In that case the data goes only to the destination you pick.
PayLane does not require an account, sign-in, or any contact information to work.
If you use iCloud device backup or iCloud Drive, your PayLane data may be included in those backups under Apple’s own privacy terms. PayLane itself does not operate any cloud service.
PayLane is a business/productivity tool and is not directed at children.
PayLane provides editable estimates to help you produce payslips. It is not accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always verify figures against your local regulations.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
