Privacy Policy — Rotabee

Rotabee ("the app", "we") is a team shift and roster planner for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: Rotabee is built to keep your data on your own devices. We do not run analytics, we do not show ads, and we do not track you.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us for analytics or advertising — we have no such systems. Rotabee has no accounts, no login, and no tracking SDKs.

The data you enter — team members' names, availability constraints, working rules and generated schedules — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, Apple syncs that data privately between your own devices through your personal iCloud account; we never see it and it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Information that leaves your device

Rotabee only makes a network request in two cases:

1. Purchases & subscriptions — handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. Apple processes payment; we never receive your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
2. Promo code redemption — if you enter a promo code, the app sends only the code itself to our verification endpoint (api.rotabee.app) to check validity and prevent reuse. No names, schedules, device identifiers or personal data are attached to that request.

How we use it

The data you enter is used solely to build and display your schedules on your device. We do not profile you, sell data, or share it with third parties.

Third-party services

• Apple App Store / StoreKit — payments & subscription management. Policy
• Apple iCloud (optional, only if you enable sync) — private device-to-device sync. Policy

Rotabee uses no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or social-login SDKs.

Data retention & deletion

Your data lives on your device. Delete the app to remove all local data. If iCloud sync was enabled, manage or delete that data in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud ▸ Manage Storage on your Apple device. Redeemed promo codes are recorded as "used" on our server only as an opaque code value, with no link to you.

Children's privacy

Rotabee is rated 4+ and is a productivity tool. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from children, and it contains no user-generated public content, ads, or tracking.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect or store personal data about you on our servers, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. You remain in full control of the data on your device. For any question about this policy, contact us below.
