Create a drawing: open FORMA, start a new canvas, pick a brush from the tool rail and start drawing with your finger or Apple Pencil.
Choose a brush: tap the brush picker to switch between ink, paint, charcoal, airbrush and the eraser. Pressure controls size and flow when you use an Apple Pencil.
Set your color: open the color picker to choose any color for the active brush.
Layers & blend modes
Add layers: open the layer panel to add, reorder, hide, lock or delete layers, and adjust each layer's opacity.
Blend modes: choose Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Darken, Lighten or Add for each layer — the GPU composites them in real time.
Canvas controls
Navigate: pinch to zoom, drag with two fingers to pan, and rotate the canvas to draw at a comfortable angle.
Undo / redo: step back and forward through your recent strokes at any time.
Export & share
Export: flatten your canvas to PNG or JPEG.
Save & share: save directly to Photos, or use the iOS share sheet to send your art to any app.
FORMA Premium & subscriptions
FORMA is free to use with the core canvas and a starter set of brushes. Premium unlocks the full brush library and pro tools.
Plans: Yearly ($29.99/yr with a 7-day free trial), Monthly ($4.99/mo), or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($59.99). Prices appear in your local currency at checkout.
Restore purchases: in Settings, tap Restore Purchases.
Manage / cancel: App Store → your account → Subscriptions → FORMA. You keep Premium until the end of the current period; Lifetime never expires.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an Apple Pencil?
No — FORMA works with your finger, and adds pressure-sensitive size and flow with an Apple Pencil on a supported iPad.
Are my drawings backed up to the cloud?
No. Everything is stored locally on your device. Cloud sync is on our roadmap but is not part of the current version, so export anything important to keep your own copies.
Why don't I see AI or collaboration features?
AI tools, live collaboration, cloud sync, timelapse and PSD/SVG export are planned for future updates and are not included in the current version.
