Does Neon Chess need internet?
No. The full game — playing the 4 bot levels, the blitz clock, history, replay and PGN export — works completely offline. Internet is only needed for optional online turn-based matches.
How do I play against the computer?
Start a new game and pick a bot level from Beginner to Master. Each level searches deeper and plays stronger.
How does online play work?
Online turn-based matches use Apple Game Center. Sign in when prompted, then invite a friend or get matched with an opponent. You can run several matches at once and move whenever it suits you. Your rating climbs the global leaderboard.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone or iPad. There is no Neon Chess account and no server of ours. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I review my games?
Yes. Every finished game is saved to your history, can be replayed move by move, and can be exported as a standard PGN file to study or share.
What does Premium include and what does it cost?
Premium unlocks every neon theme and the full experience. It is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the App → Settings → Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Which languages are supported?
Neon Chess is available in 34 languages, matching your device language automatically.
