Delete your data

Oshi Free-Dom VPN · app.diopta.vpn · Last updated: 8 September 2026

There is no account to delete

Oshi Free-Dom has no sign-up, so there is no name, email address or password anywhere to erase. What a server can hold for you is a random identifier your own device generated, the public half of its key, and one running byte total.

How to request deletion

  1. Open the app and go to Settings. Your device identifier is shown there.
  2. Email contact@oshi-messenger.com with that identifier and the words "delete my data".
  3. We delete the records matching that identifier and reply to confirm. We do not ask for anything else, because there is nothing else to ask for.

We need the identifier because it is the only thing that links any record to your device. We cannot find "your" data from an email address, since we never had one.

What gets deleted

Device identifierThe random ID your device generated on first launch. Deleted.
Public key and tunnel addressThe routing record for your device. Deleted.
Monthly byte totalThe single running number used for the free plan's limit. Deleted.

Nothing else exists to delete. There is no browsing history, no query log, no record of when or where you connected, and no private key of yours on any server.

It also happens on its own

You do not have to ask. A device that has not connected for 30 days is removed automatically, which deletes the association between its identifier and its tunnel address. Uninstalling the app and waiting 30 days has the same effect as writing to us.

The history on your phone

The app keeps a list of your own sessions on the device, under Settings › Usage. That list is never transmitted, so it is not ours to delete — there is a Delete this history button on that screen, and uninstalling the app removes it as well.
