A block puzzle that does not hurry you.
Eight by eight. No timer, no lives, no energy meter, no connection. The game ends when nothing fits — and that is the only way it ends.
Get ZenBlocks
Row three is full. It clears, and the board breathes again.
How it works
Three pieces are offered at a time. Drag them onto the board. Fill a complete row or a complete column and it clears. Clear more than one at once and the combo counter climbs. When none of the three pieces fits anywhere, the game is over — though a Continue can rescue a run you care about.
That is the whole ruleset. There is nothing to unlock before you understand it, and nothing hidden behind a tutorial.
Designed to lower your heart rate, not raise it.
What you get
- Completely offline. On a plane, in a tunnel, in a basement. The game never needs a connection to be played.
- No timer. Put the phone down mid-move and come back tomorrow; the board is saved after every placement.
- Undo, Bomb and Swap when a board goes wrong — earned by playing, or bought as tokens if you would rather not wait.
- Light and dark, both drawn on purpose rather than one inverted from the other.
- Haptics that match the piece, so a clear feels different from a placement.
What it costs
ZenBlocks is free and has no ads. Premium is one purchase, once — Undo becomes free for good and 200 tokens come with it. There is no subscription and there will not be one. Token packs for the power-ups are optional and entirely skippable; the best score on the leaderboard can be set without spending anything at all.
Honest about the limits
- There is no cloud save and no account. Your best score lives on the device and travels in an encrypted backup — it will not follow you to a second phone in use at the same time.
- The board is 8×8 only. There are no other modes, no seasons and no live events.
- There are no ads and no tracking, so there is nothing to consent to.
