Terms of Use & EULA

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CallScribe AI ("CallScribe", "we", "us") governing your use of the CallScribe AI application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

CallScribe Pro is offered through the following options:

  • Weekly — $9.99 per week, including a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Annual — $59.99 per year, including a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Lifetime — $99.99 as a single one-time purchase (not a subscription).

Subscription purchases are billed to your Apple ID. A subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App at the time of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. You will not:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • record any person without obtaining all consents required by law (see Section 5);
  • use the App to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or any related systems.

5. Your Responsibility for Call-Recording & Consent Laws

You are solely responsible for complying with all laws governing the recording of calls, conversations, and meetings in your jurisdiction. Many countries, states, and regions require the consent of one or all parties before a conversation may be recorded. It is your responsibility to know which laws apply to you and to obtain any required consent before recording. CallScribe provides a recording tool only; we are not responsible for how you use it, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your recording activities.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Transcription and AI-generated summaries, action items, and topics are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. The App's output is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. You are responsible for verifying any important information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CallScribe and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. You may end the agreement at any time by ceasing to use the App and deleting it. Upon termination, the rights granted to you cease, while sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5–7 and 9) will continue to apply.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence, any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
