Getting a useful answer

Write to contact@oshi-messenger.com. It is one person reading, which means the reply is slower than a support desk and better informed than one.

What to put in the message

Four things turn a two-week exchange into a single reply. Which iPhone and which version of iOS. What recorded the workout that is missing — Apple Watch, Garmin, Wahoo, Coros, Strava, or typed in by hand. What you expected the app to do, and what it did instead. And a screenshot: of the session, and of Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Trainora.

That last one settles most of it on its own, and there is a reason it has to come from you rather than from the app. iOS deliberately refuses to tell an app whether Health read access was granted — the system answers "not determined" whether you granted it or refused it — so Trainora genuinely cannot look. It will never claim you denied anything, and it will never nag you about a permission, because from inside the app an empty Health and a refused Health are the same thing.

Nothing is arriving from Apple Health
First
Is the workout in the Health app itself?Open Health → Browse → Activity → Workouts. If it is not there, Trainora cannot see it either, and the problem is upstream. Strava, Wahoo, Garmin and Coros each need Health writing switched on in their own settings — that is a permission you grant inside those apps, not inside this one.
Second
Is the grant in place?Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Trainora. Workouts, heart rate and distance should be on. Note that turning a category on later does not rewrite a plan that has already been built — pull to refresh on Today.
Third
Is it a sport the app reads?Running, cycling, swimming, hiking and the two strength categories. A yoga class, a walk or a rowing session will not arrive. This is deliberate: scoring them against a running threshold would produce a number that means nothing.
Fourth
Are your heart rates set?Sessions can arrive and still carry no load. Heart-rate load needs max, resting and threshold heart rate together; without all three, imported sessions come in with no load at all and the Progress tab stays empty. Profile → My numbers.
Things that are working as intended
“There is a dash where a number should be.”
Fewer than seven days of recorded training. The app will not draw a confident line through nothing. It resolves itself in a week, or immediately if you import history.
“My form is negative.”
A hard block is supposed to run negative. See the questions page for the longer version.
“The sessions feel too easy.”
The first block starts from your own recent volume rather than your ambition, and steps up ten per cent a week. Overriding it in week one is how first blocks end in injury. If it is genuinely far below what you do, the likeliest cause is that the app cannot see your history — go back to the section above.
“The plan stopped after four weeks.”
It is supposed to. Tap Build the next four weeks; the new block starts from what you have actually been doing since.
“A session did not reach my Watch.”
The Trainora watch app must be installed, the devices must have been in range, and scheduling workouts is its own permission separate from Health. If it was refused, the screen says so and points at Settings.
“Some of the app is in French.”
The app is fully localised in English and French and follows your device's language. If it is showing the wrong one, it is following a language preference set at the system level.
Your data, without asking me

Both of these are in the app and neither needs a support request. Export my data writes one JSON file containing sessions, plan, thresholds, goals, notes and movements — open format, yours to keep. Delete everything removes it all from the device and from your iCloud, cannot be undone, and does not touch anything in Apple Health, because those samples were never Trainora's. The privacy page covers the detail.

Deleting the app removes its local store. If iCloud sync was on and you want that copy gone as well, delete from inside the app first.

Bugs

If something is genuinely broken, say what you did, what happened, and whether it happens every time. A reproducible sequence is worth more than a description of the symptom, and the app keeps no logs at all — none, by design, enforced in the build — so there is no diagnostic file to send. What you tell me is what I have.

Next: privacy — the exact list of what is read, and the short list of where it goes.
